- Foot strike: forefoot, midfoot or heel. Both excessive heel and excessive forefoot striking can overload tissues; moderate patterns are usually fine. Don’t change it if it isn’t causing problems.
- Lean: body angle through phases of the gait cycle.
- Posture: alignment of hip, thorax, neck and head.
- Maximum shank angle: peak shin angle during the forward swing.
